Blinds
Blinds offer a precise solution where curtains fall short—precise light control, space-saving design, and integration into tight architectural spaces. They come in several types: the Roman shade, which forms horizontal folds as it is raised; the roller shade, which is discreet and compact; Venetian blinds, with adjustable slats, for precise light control; and California blinds, designed for large picture windows.
The choice of fabric determines the properties: sheer fabrics to filter light while maintaining the view, blackout fabrics to completely block light—essential in the hospitality industry—or solar screens to reduce heat gain and protect against UV rays. Custom upholstery fabrics—linen, printed cotton, light embroidery, aquarelle, etc.—are also available for high-end residential or hotel projects.
The mechanism is inseparable from the fabric: chain-operated or motorized. The latter is ideal for projects incorporating home automation. The EN 13120 standard imposes specific requirements for cord or chain mechanisms in spaces frequented by children.
In public buildings, M1 fire rating is mandatory. We manage on-site installation, including on complex surfaces.
